Today’s treasure is a Siku Mercedes LP 608 recovery truck in the classic yellow ADAC livery.
I think this one is from the late 1970s poss early 80s because of the yellow glazing.
As with all Siku’s its a sturdy model with some pleasing features like the pair of metal loading ramps which slide out of the bed and a working winch with a slightly vicious looking pair of hooks to grab the stricken vehicle and haul it on board.
At five inches in length and with a pleasing weighty feel it makes an impressive rig.
